Workshop outcomes:

  • to understand the role of case management in the code of ethics
  • to understand holistically the concept of case management in the child protection field
  • to familiarise the social service practitioner with terminology in case management
  • to understand the practice and process of case management in child protection taking into account all legislative and other directives
  • to understand workflow activities, tools to be used and  roles and responsibilities of the social service practitioner
  • to apply the workflow in a case study by using tools, forms  and legislation
  • to apply the code of ethics to a case study
