To empower participants regarding ethical responsibilities towards the profession, child protection and plans for children in alternative care.
- To keep abreast of the current trends, research and developments in the profession with different partners in social work/child protection.
- To understand the legislation prescribing the plans for children in alternative care.
- To understand the theory and application of child participation.
- To understand the theoretical underpinnings when assessing children and compiling the plans.
- To be empowered with knowledge regarding the different plans.
- To enable participants to be able to compile plans for children in alternative care.
